Dr. Pearson Elected to NASSS Executive Board.
Dr. Demetrius Pearson, associate professor in HHP, was recently elected to the North American Society for the Sociology of Sport (NASSS) executive board at the annual convention in Minneapolis, MN.
As a board member, Dr. Pearson will serve as the chair for the Diversity and Conference Climate Committee. His term runs from 2011 - 2014.
